BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 36% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez has a four-game hitting streak and has five RBI and five runs scored in the same time period. Gonzalez has a .400 (and six multi-hit games) since going 4-for-4 with a home run against the Reds on May 27 and has capitalized on matchups at home. He has eight runs scored and 10 RBI in that time period, hitting six extra-base hits and even stealing a base.
Gonzalez hit 40 home runs as recently as 2015, and started heating up around June in that season as well, and has a 47.2% hard hit ball rate since May 27. While this is considerably higher than his 33.1% rate for the season, it does not matter if you are in Coors or not, that high of a hard hit ball rate will lead to hits.
The Rockies will finish a series with the Diamondbacks in Colorado this weekend before going to Philadelphia and Texas. While these parks do not have the same effect as Coors, both are hitters parks and the veteran slugger should be owned in all leagues.
