BALLER MOVE: Add in 2QB Leagues

ANALYSIS: As bad as the narrative about Carson Wentz was last year, and even throughout the first few weeks of this season, the truth is that the new Colts QB hasn't bed bad by any stretch of the imagination. See, Wentz has five top-24 games this year (including a QB1 finish in Week 5) and only one dud of 7.8 FP back in Week 3 against Tennessee. But fantasy GMs are not buying on this man and that's why he's widely available. Take advantage of the bug and exploit the fantasy system, folks.
Wentz, starting all six games played this season to date, has a total of 102.2 FP with an average of 17.0 FPPG so far as a Colt. That's definitely not QB1 production (Aaron Rodgers is the top-12 quarterback through Week 6 at 117.7 total FP) but it's more than close as to not find Wentz available in almost two of every three Yahoo leagues these days. Wentz's 9 TDs over the year might be a little bit low, sure, but so are his interceptions with just one pick this season. Wentz has put together three consecutive games of 17+ FP and even on a low-volume passing dud of a game in W6 (11-of-20 completions, 223 yards, 2 TDs) he still racked up fantasy goodies and finished as a top-13 QB (pending MNF).
While Wentz is not rushing the rock at all and has two fumbles over six games, it's not that he needs those extra fantasy points to stay up on the leaderboards. Obviously, there are much better quarterbacks out there but I think it's safe to say they're just not available for free. Wentz is a very viable starter weekly for those in deeper leagues and multi-QB formats, and a sound play for those streaming the position in shallower competitions.
