Case Keenum (QB, MIN) - Week 11 Waiver Wire Adds

OWNED IN: 18% of Yahoo leagues

ANALYSIS: Who would have thought that Keenum would be leading Minnesota to a 7-2 record entering Week 11? While he hasn't been great, he's been serviceable filling in for Sam Bradford (knee) and Teddy Bridgewater (knee), with a 64.9 completion percentage, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions for a 92.6 quarterback rating.

Bridgewater is off Injured Reserve and is likely to make starts down the stretch, but Keenum bought himself another start by going 21-for-29 for 304 yards, a season-high four touchdown passes and two interceptions in Week 10 against Washington. The two ugly picks he threw late in the game remind us that he's merely a replacement-level signal caller.

With Minnesota in the driver's seat in the division, Keenum has afforded them the option to play it slow with Bridgewater's recovery. Keenum doesn't offer a high ceiling, but his floor is pretty safe as a midrange QB2, at least for one more week. He does draw a tough matchup with the Rams secondary this weekend, but he might need to air it out often to keep up with LA's high-scoring offense.
