CBB DFS Lineup Picks (2/25/16): Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice for FanDuel

What's up RotoBallers. In what should be an exciting night of NCAA college basketball, we are here to give you our top DFS lineup plays for the FanDuel slate.

Our daily fantasy CBB lineup picks below are broken down by position, and also by their FanDuel pricing and expected DFS value. Hopefully I can help steer you in the right direction, and help you win your FanDuel fantasy contests.

So without further delay, below are our favorite Daily Fantasy College Basketball picks for FanDuel DFS games on February, 25th 2016.

CBB DFS Guards to Target on FanDuel

Top Play: Isaiah Whitehead ($9,100)

Everyone will gravitate to Kris Dunn in this game, and for good reason, however Whitehead looks to be the better fantasy play. The Pirates guard is locked into giant minutes with over 30 in his last 10 and is the teams leading scorer. Prior to last game in which he has just 10 points, Whitehead had over 15 in each of this last nine contests. Along with his scoring, Whitehead contributes across the board with five games over six assists, four games with five or more rebounds and five games with multiples steals over the last 10 games. All these factors give him an incredibly high floor, never being under 27 fantasy points in the last 10, and a huge ceiling if he is hitting his shots.

Mid Tier: Shep Garner ($7,000)

Speaking of a guy who does nearly everything for his team, Garner is an all-around stud for Penn St. He ranks first in minutes, second in scoring, first in assists, and second in steals for the Nittany Lions. His 34.3 minutes per game on the year have been increased even more lately with a combined 75 minutes in the last two games alone. Tonight Penn St. Gets an up-tempo Nebraska team that did slow them down last time out, but that was in Nebraska. With the volatility of most college players, getting a guy at this price who has over 20 fantasy points in six straight is a huge luxury.

Value: Devon Bookert ($5,900)

With freshman Beasley and Bacon hitting a bit of a wall for Florida State, it has been Bookert who has picked his game up. If you take out his last game, a four point stinker against Virginia Tech, Bookert had three straight outings with over 27 minutes and 14 points while also adding in 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals in those games. Those numbers should be bumped up in a meeting with Duke that is excellent on offense, but can struggle mightily on defense having given up over 70 points in six of eight games. Bookert should be able to take advantage of Duke’s lack of depth to rack up points against a worn down defense and get back to his mid 20’s scoring tonight.

CBB DFS Forwards to Target on FanDuel

Top Play: Brandon Ingram ($9,000)

It is always wise to attack a player who struggled his last game out in a GPP due to recency bias. That is certainly the case with Ingram who was frustrated by Louisville to the tune of just eight points and a crazy 10 turnovers. That helped his price drop to a very workable $9,000 for a player that averaged 34.7 FanDuel points in his previous nine games. With the lack of depth for Duke, Ingram is a virtual lock to play 35 minutes and there is a possibility he plays the entire 40, which is outstanding for value. Florida St does have some big men down low which could limit Ingram’s rebounding, but his freshman counterparts for the Noles will be completely outmatched with his offensive game. Ingram is a lock for any and all game types tonight.

Mid Tier: Jordan Loveridge ($6,400)

Loveridge gets less national respect than does his teammate Jakob Poeltl, but continues to be a huge part of the teams success. The Utes big man has scored in double figures in five straight games while tossing in a respectable number of rebounds and assists per game. His lack of steals and blocks limits both his upside and floor, but as he leads the team in minutes, Loveridge is out there enough to hit value. It will help Utah that they take on an Arizona State team coming off a game in which they were destroyed inside and gave up 99 points to rival Arizona. Loveridge should find an equal amount of success in this one.

Value: Dorian Pickens ($5,400)

With Reid Travis out for the year, Stanford has been struggling to find a consistent forward on both ends of the floor. Pickens has shown flashes of brilliance, four games of 14 or more points, while also having some valleys as was the case with his four games in single digits scoring. This cumulated with his minutes dropping from over 30 to just 22 in two of his last four, but the good news is last game he was entrusted with 30 minutes and had a solid nine points, four rebounds and two steals. Pickens does not have tremendous upside but for less than $1,000 over the minimum he does own four games over 20 Fanduel points in his last 10.
