BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 53% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez has a .422 OBP to open the 2018 season and has already scored 11 runs. Hernandez only has a .275 batting average, but hit .294 in each of the last two seasons and likely will see his average approach .290 this season.
Pressured by super rookie Scott Kingery, Hernandez has held his spot at second base, clubbing four extra-base hits (two home runs) and stealing three bases. Hernandez has stolen at least 15 bases in each of the last three seasons, but, while he has shown some power in the early going, he has never hit more than nine home runs than he hit in 2017.
While he is a starting 2B in deeper formats, Hernandez should at least be a starting MI in all formats and really should be owned in more than 55% of leagues. He has the potential for 100 runs scored, 20 stolen bases, and a .290 and, if this power spurt is real, could also club double-digit home runs for the first time in his career.
