NFL DFS Matchups Analysis & Lineup Sleepers (NFC)

As we enter one game closer to the Superbowl this weekend.  Arizona will be facing off versus Carolina.  I will be highlighting some players who are likely going to show up for their team.  To keep things interesting, I also will be mentioning a few players who are more under-the-radar and could perform well for daily fantasy football owners.

Here are some top DFS fantasy football plays for the NFC championship round.

Championship Round DFS Matchup Picks (NFC)

Carson Palmer (QB, ARZ)

Last week I was crazy enough to recommend Carson Palmer as my top QB choice.  Well I'm going to roll the dice again and recommend him as my top QB play.  One big take away I took from the Carolina vs Seattle game, besides Josh Norman, the Panthers secondary is not good (Wilson had 366 yards in the air).  Arizona has a lot of dangerous receiving options and I don't see them being able to stop them all.

Jonathan Stewart (RB, CAR)

My top running back choice this week is going to be Stewart.  The Carolina offense has very few dangerous receiving weapons (outside of Greg Olsen).  I expect a heavy dose of running with Stewart and Newton leading the way.  Carolina will be using the running the game to control the clock and keep the high-powered Arizona offense (ranked 1st overall this season) on the sidelines.

Championship Round DFS Sleepers (NFC)

Here are some players that could be viewed as DFS sleepers this weekend, and could post solid games:

John Brown (WR, ARZ)

As I mentioned above the secondary for the Panthers is not great outside Norman.  Either Brown or Floyd will have a good game this week.  I had a hard time choosing between one or the other so I just picked both.  Last week Brown was tied second most in targets with 9. I like Browns chances this week to score at least a TD.

Michael Floyd  (WR, ARZ)

Last week Floyd did not have a lot of receiving yards but made up for it by having two touchdowns (one of those was from a tipped pass).  I am anticipating a high scoring game (see week 13 versus the Saints as a comparison) and Arizona's receivers will be the beneficiaries. Floyd is due to rebound this week and I like his chances of having at least 75 receiving yards.
