Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Charles Johnson hopes to return to action in week 6 from a rib injury that kept him out of the Vikings week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Heading into the year, Johnson was expected to have a big season with Teddy Bridgewater as his quarterback. However, that hasn't been the case. In the three games that Johnson did play, he only hauled in six passes for 46 yards.
Don't jump the gun and drop Johnson quite yet, but he is inching closer to the fantasy football roster bubble. If he is ready to return in week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs, I'd be hesitant to start him. Take a wait and see approach before submitting him in your starting lineups.
If Johnson can't go, rookie Stefon Diggs will take most of his targets in the passing game.
