BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 3% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Chase Edmonds is in his second season in the NFL as the backup to David Johnson. While it's tough to get much volume behind someone as talented as Johnson, it's worth noting that Edmonds has been quite efficient with the ball in his hands this year, averaging 6.68 YPC on 19 total carries. Edmonds vultured a touchdown last week from Johnson and finished the game with 68 yards on eight carries. While he isn't worth starting by any means, the value that he offers from a handcuff standpoint is tough to ignore. DJ's recent back issue could make for the perfect opportunity to snatch Edmonds in case Johnson misses time.
If you're able to spare a roster spot, Edmonds is worth taking a look at whether you're the Johnson owner or not. We've seen handcuffs in the past come through as potential league-winning waiver wire options. His upside in the Air Raid offense is tough to overlook, as he could bring value as a runner and a pass-catcher.
