BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Chase Headley has been worse than dog poop in 2014, and it's incredible he's still 51% owned in CBS leagues. BUUUUUUT, he just got traded to the New York Yankees. You don't need to be a scientist to know that the difference between Petco Park and Yankee Stadium is enormous when it comes to a batter's production. Add in the fact that the Padres lineup is worse than some Triple-A teams, and the Yankees are an above average MLB offense, and Headley's situation has improved by leaps and bounds. There is the other thing, the elephant in the room, which is that Headley has just been terrible, and a terrible hitter in one place won't all of a sudden become a great hitter somewhere else. To that, I will tell you to look at Headley's SLG % in 2012, his breakout year. He slugged 30 pts higher vs right handed pitchers, which leads me to believe that once he's played within the friendly confines of Yankee stadium, we could see some nice power out of him in the second half.
