ANALYSIS: Cheslor Cuthbert has acquitted himself rather well during his rookie year. He’s currently hitting .296/.328/.457 with nine homers and 61 R+RBI despite hitting primarily in the bottom third of the order. He was recently bumped up to the two-hole and has flourished there, collecting multiple hits in four of eight contests. The defending champions are long shots to make the playoffs at this point, but Cuthbert has filled in admirably for Mike Moustakas and looks like a viable MLB starter.
