BALLER MOVE: Add in 12 Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 52% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: A change of scenery seems to have been exactly what the doctor ordered for Chris Carter. After his 2 HR day Sunday, Carter now has seven long balls, 15 R, and 18 RBI to go along with a healthy .278/.355/.671 line after the first month of the season with the Brewers. His current 29.0 K% is four points lower than his career average, and he is absolutely murdering the ball (.392 ISO, 17 XBH). Being a .217 career hitter, it is difficult to trust all of the numbers after only one month, but as long as Carter receives playing time he will help you win the HR category. If he is a free agent in your league, take the chance and enjoy this hot ride while it lasts. Although, for the extreme optimists out there, Carter is historically a very slow starter (.199 career BA in April). For a comparison, in 2014 when he hit 37 HR, he finished April with only three dingers and a .153 BA. This could get rowdy.
