BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep AL-Only Leagues
Ownership: 10% Fleaflicker
ANALYSIS: Now with the Jays, Chris Colabello is making the most out of his opportunities. He is currently riding an eight-game hitting streak, going 13 for 31 (.419 BA) with two homers and six runs batted in over that span. He sports .386/.440/.578 slash line through 83 AB, and especially with Michael Saunders out, Colabello should continue to get playing time as long as he is producing.
He didn't make his big league debut until age 29 and he struggled to get on base consistently in his two years in Minnesota, but he has always displayed above-average power. Colabello is by no means a long-term solution, but he went through similar hot streaks in each of the past two seasons, so owners in deep leagues should ride him while he's hot.
