BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~170 Overall
CURRENT ADP: 180+ (Undrafted)
ANALYSIS: After spending four years in Kansas City, Conley moved places to play for the Jaguars. Obviously, part of a much slimmer offense, his opportunities were poised to increase in 2019. And they did. And with them Conley's numbers, performance, and overall efficiency.
Chris Conley set career highs in his first year in Jacksonville in targets (90), receptions (47), receiving yards (775), yards per catch (16.5), and yards per game (48.4) while also tying his career-high of five touchdowns from the year prior. After such a year, the former third-round pick in 2015 should be the favorite to remain in starting three-receiver sets alongside Dede Westbrook and D.J. Chark. The addition of rookie Laviska Shenault Jr. could threaten Conley's bottom line, though, but it's going to be an unpredictable bloodbath in Jacksonville when it comes to winning a high-WR role.
The 27-year-old finished as the WR43 fantasy wideout in PPR leagues in 2019. That hasn't boosted his ADP, though, as he was getting drafted as the WR106 last season to this summer's WR124. He's more than available late in drafts and projects to a WR3 role (per PFF) in terms of targets (60) among Jacksonville receivers while he's expected to reach near 500 yards and score 3 TDs in 2020. Conley is not going to win you the league, but he's worth a flier as a potential FLEX/WR4 type in deeper leagues.
