BALLER MOVE: Continue Scouting
ANALYSIS: Chris Young had been having an abysmal season before the past week in which he hit 3 HRs and 6 RBIs. The only person surprised with Chris Young's numbers was Sandy Alderson who felt the need to give him 7.5 million dollars. Everybody else realizes that this is the real Chris Young, the same one we have seen since his days in Arizona. Rumors were swirling that Young may be released and all of a sudden he bashes 3 homeruns this week. It felt good to see these homers finally come and just in time because Juan Lagares came of the disabled list on Thursday and is ready to take Young's spot in the Mets outfield. As a Mets fan, I don't trust Young and while I am willing to ride out this hot streak with him I know the next hot streak is probably six weeks away. Young is merely a guy to start while he is hot. He is what he always has been, a .200 hitter who can pop 20 homers.
