Christian Kirk (WR, ARI) - Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: With five of six maximum games played, Kirk is currently the WR46 in total points through Week 6. He was forced out of Week 3 with a groin injury, but even looking at a per-game average he's right in the same position with 10.3 PPG so far this season. Even with those seemingly low outcomes, Kirk hasn't stopped improving game after game in 2020, and he broke for more than 20 PPR points last night for the first time this season.

These are Kirk PPR scores this year: 1.0, 8.0, 10.9, 11.8, 22.6. His opportunities and snaps played haven't varied a lot or raised steadily, but his production has leveled up a ton. Just this past Monday facing a horrid Cowboys Defense, Kirk exploded for 86 yards on just 2-of-3 receptions, scoring a couple of touchdowns and turning 100% of his touches into scores.

That's because Arizona is scheming players specifically for Kirk to excel, as one of those two receptions was a monster 80-yard pass and the other one came on a simple touch pass near the goal line.

It can't be argued that Kirk is making the most of his chances. His usage is still on the low side--Kirk has 5-4-5-7-3 targets in games this season--but he comes with high upside given his scoring prowess.

Arizona only has one more game before its bye week, but they'll be facing the worst defense in preventing points from WRs next weekend in Seattle's. In deeper leagues, Kirk is a must-add. In 12+ Team leagues, if you need a weekly FLEX, Kirk is your man. And in virtually every league, no matter the depth, he's a lock to put in your lineup if only for next weekend's game given the tasty matchup.
