Clint Frazier (OF, NYY) - Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 10% of Yahoo! leagues

ANALYSIS: A rash of injuries to the Yankees offense has forced them to call up highly-touted outfielder Clint Frazier, who slotted into their lineup in the seven spot over the last few games. He has gotten off to a hot start, blasting home runs in consecutive games. Frazier was a hot prospect coming up through Cleveland's farm system before he ended up in New York, and although a star-studded outfield and a serious concussion slowed down his rise to the big leagues, it looks like he is finally catching hold - and he does not want to let go anytime soon.

Frazier's big league numbers up to this point won't blow anyone away, but his minor league numbers tell the tale of a potential five-category contributor. In the spacious Yankee stadium, Frazier could easily get 15/15 with a boatload of runs and RBI if he receives everyday playing time.

While that playing time is unlikely to last throughout the season, he is absolutely worth riding while he's hot. I'd be adding him in 12-teamers if you have a spot and need a bat to inject some life into your lineup.
