BALLER MOVE: Continue Scouting, Add in NL-Only Leagues
ANALYSIS: Cody Ross is a nice guy to monitor in fantasy leagues right now because a lot of people have forgotten that he even exists, due to his early stint on the disabled list. But once he rejoins the Diamondbacks, he will have instant value because his starting outfield spot is waiting. Joining Goldy, Montero, and Trumbo will bring immediate value to Ross, as he should be able to rack up some Runs and RBIs. He does a little of everything for your fantasy team, adding upside for 20+ HR, 30 doubles, and a .270-.280 BA. If your outfield is stacked, then let him go. But if you have somebody that you are taking a risk on, like an underachieving rookie, I'd grab Ross off the waiver wire as insurance or stash him on the DL now if you have the room to.
