BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 24% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It is official. After going cold against Tennessee in Week 5 (21 yards on three receptions for 5.1 fantasy points), the Week 6 bye did Cole Beasley wonders as the came back hungry and now has back-to-back games over 10 fantasy points against Miami and Philadelphia in Weeks 7 and 8.
Beasley is not as flashy as other receivers. He won’t make it to any highlight reel, and he probably won’t give you 30 points any week, but he’s a weekly play as solid as they get. So far this season, Beasley has posted 9.0-plus fantasy points in every game he’s played but one. Removing his 5.1 performance, he’d be averaging more than 12 points per game in the year, which is more than enough for a weekly flex play in most leagues. His value gets boosted by his high reception numbers, as he runs from the slot and is targeted a lot by Bills QB Josh Allen.
After finishing with 16 yards on three receptions and a touchdown in Week 7 (10.6 fantasy points), Beasley went all-in again in Week 7 and racked up 41 yards on another three receptions to go with yet another TD (13.1 points). He’s been targeted more than seven times per game and never fewer than four times, so you know he’ll get the opportunities. He also has a couple of good matchups ahead facing Washington, Cleveland, and Miami. With the bye weeks taking players out of your lineup consider Beasley a good pickup to keep on your roster and play at the flex any day if any of your go-to players are missing.
