BALLER MOVE: Target Around 96 Overall
CURRENT ADP: 121
ANALYSIS: After drafting a forward just a few weeks ago and not making any move involving the guard positions, Cleveland is locked into its SexLand backcourt. The distance between Darius Garland and Collin Sexton, though, is massive. Garland finished last season as the 145th-best fantasy player compared to Sexton's 54th finish, yet their ADPs speak of a much closer gap with Sexton having a 121 ADP compared to Garland's 153. That, simply put, makes no sense.
Sexton might not be the greatest of point/shooting guards in the NBA yet, nor will he (most probably) be in the near future. That being said, the Cavs are so barren of talent that Sexton will keep putting up numbers no matter what. Sex played 33 mpg in his 65 games last season and finished 2020 averaging a nice 21-3-3 per-game line, adding 1.0 spg to it. Obviously, the environment and his teammates cut his upside a bit in terms of racking up dimes, and Garland took on more of those duties, but even as he was used last season Sexton was more than a rosterable player.
The shooting wasn't very nice in terms of efficiency (47.2 percent from the floor, 38 percent on three-pointers), but his high volume made up for it. Sexton shot 16.7 fga per game to go with 3.9 3pa and 4.1 fta averages. That's the definition of Sexton: a player who still has to make the most of his touches, but who Cleveland is handing tons of opportunities that solve those problems for him just on sheer volume. That won't change in 2021 and with Andre Drummond playing next to him from day one he should find him more than last year and boost his assist numbers a bit.

Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]

Well, not the case […]

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season.
