ANALYSIS: We're getting closer to the time of the season where Cobb returns and carries everyone into the promise land of the playoffs. Nah, not really. But he's going to likely do better than any of the current backs are playing in Tennessee. It's becoming very clear that Cobb will have the immediate starter role since none of the other running backs in this offense can consistently make plays on the ground, but there are some real questions about how much value that will have on a Titans offense. Still, at this point, desperation plays are better than no plays when it comes to running backs.
