CS:GO DFS Picks

Best of 3 Series

  • Fnatic (-145) vs. MiBR (+110) (DK)
  • BiG (-130) vs. Virtus.pro (Even) (DK)
  • Team Spirit (-145) vs Cloud9 (+110) (FD)
  • Complexity (-265) vs FaZe (+185) (FD)
  • Astralis vs. G2 (Both)
  • North vs. GODSENT (Both)

Captain Plays:

MIR: Mir is has been one of the best players on Team Spirit for quite some time now. In the last three months he has had a 1.22 KD and averages about .80 kills per round and only .65 deaths per rounds. In the loss yesterday to Heroic, mir still dropped 58 kills. He is consistently one of the top plays on TS, his price at 12k might be a little high but in a win he is worth the price, a flex or a captain, mir is a great play.

Device: Device is one of the top-rated players in the world. He is 2nd in the league in match rating, 2nd in Kill/death differential, and 4th in the world in kills per round. He has a 1.25 K/D, gets about .78 kills per round, and only .62 deaths per round. He tends to play better as the level of competition rises, with playing Team Liquid today he went off going +30 on the day. A performance like that against G2 isn’t out of reach. He could be one of the best plays on the slate once again.

Zehn: A low-owned tournament option or even a cheaper one off. Zehn has been playing very well recently, posting a 1.14 K/D, and has been going for .74 kills per round and only .65 deaths per round. He has one rough game against mousesports last week and FD does us the honor of dropping his price really low. In 4 of his last 5 games he has been a top two player on his team, and even going positive in today’s loss to mousesports again. Zehn is way too cheap for his possible output and could be an extremely sneaky play at captain.

Other captain plays: BlameF, K0nfig, Broky, sdy, Farlig, NiKo, syrson(DK), Brollan(DK)

Value Plays:

SDY: For a value play, SDY plays well as he is a top 3 player on his team and in wins he goes positive. He isn’t a player who is going to knock your socks off with 50+ kills but that not what we have to look for in value. With TS having a favorable matchup against Cloud9, this could be a route to a positive performance from sdy and also a sweep bonus which is a nice add on, to someone who only costs 9.9k. He has a 1.13 K/D, and gets about .71 kills per round as well as only .65 deaths per round. Sdy is a great addition to a TS stack!

Dupreeh:  Dupreeh has stepped up in recent weeks with magisk playing poorly recently. Dupreeh is only 9.8k and makes for a cheap stacking option if you go the route if Astralis. He has about a 1.12 KD and gets around .71 kills per round and .65 deaths per round. He has been a top 3 player in 5 of his last 6 and in one of those games going off for a 72 kill game leading his team to a win. He has the upside to smash and a nice floor for someone fairly cheap.

poizon: Other then the loss against Gambit yesterday, Poizon has been playing very well as of late. Poizon was normally a player I would avoid, but he has been on fire lately and playing better then his price shows. He has been towards the top of the team leaderboard posting Top 3 in 3 of his last 4 games. He is still a risk as he can go back to normal form at any time and be back at the bottom. But the matchup is favorable against a FaZe team who can’t seem to get a footing since the loss of NiKo.

Other value plays: Gla1ve, chopper, kennys, RUSH, trk(DK), emi(Punt)

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Team Spirit: TS had a long game against Heroic as it went into 4 Overtime’s where heroic finally squeaked it out in a very close match. TS is one of those teams that have the players that could make a tournament run every time but always just come up short in a game. Even though they were swept against Heroic they still played very well against the No. 2 team in the world.

They now have a match against Cloud9 who after two big upsets, have cooled off again in losses from mousesports and Gambit. Cloud9 is always live for an upset but TS has what it takes to beat them, the odds seem a lot closer then they should be. TS should be a cheaper stack that might go overlooked in fear of a Cloud9 upset. Mir, iDisbalance, and sdy are all great plays.

Astralis: Astralis is the No.4 ranked team in the world right now and has shown they have been very dominant recently. They took a rough loss against GODSENT, but bounced back really well against Team Liquid where they put on a smoke show and won in the sweep. Astralis plays better as their competition gets more difficult and G2 has been playing really well lately other than a close loss today against FURIA. Astralis still looks like a great play and expect their dominance to continue into tomorrow’s matchup as well.

GODSENT: Didn’t think I would be talking about GODSENT, but they finally get a favorable matchup against North. North won today against Nemiga but have lost 4 straight before that since they lost Aizy and MSL due to violations of COVID protocols. This is a get back on track matchup for GODSENT as they haven’t faired well against Mousesports in the last two matchups but did take down the 4th ranked Astralis. I can’t say they are my favorite team to stack but I really like them for specific plays. Farlig, Maden, and zehn being my favorites.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Complexity, BiG(DK), G2 (GPP), Fnatic
