Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CSGO contests on Draftkings and FanDuel.
We have a three-game main slate on DraftKings that is a part of the ESL One: Road to Rio qualifier. This has been an awesome tournament so far and has provided us with some great, competitive matches. We have a number of really good teams in action today and some really closely projected matches which should make for an awesome GPP slate.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel for Thursday, May 14th, 2020 at 7:00 AM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

Road to Rio (Best of 3)
- Syman (-115) vs. Winstrike (-115)
- Vitality vs. NiP
- Heretics vs. G2
CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
kennyS has been one of the best players over the last month as he has had a 1.26 K/D ratio over the last 19 maps played. He has a .74 kill per round rate and a .59 death per round rate and is averaging 66.5 DK point per game. He is priced down a bit on DK as he is just $8,800 while he is the second-highest priced player on FD at $12,000. He has scored 70+ DK points in five of his last seven matches were and looks to be in a spot where he could replicate one of his better performances.
Zyw0o is the best player on the slate and in order for Vitality to win, they will need a stellar performance from him. He has a K/D ratio of 1.27 over his last 42 maps played and carries a .78 kill per round rate and a .62 death per round rate during that stretch. Over the last three months, he has played NiP over seven maps and has had a 1.31 K/D ratio against them. He is the most expensive player on both sites so he could be a contrarian play in the captain spot since the roster construction could be limited due to his high price tag.
Other captain plays: El1an, huNter-
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
Lekr0 is $6,400 on DK and $10,100 on FD which makes him a moderate-priced value play for this slate. Over the last month, he has had a 1.08 K/D ratio which spans over a 23 map stretch. He has a .67 kill per round rate and a .61 death per round rate and has a 50.9% headshot percentage. Throughout his career, he has played Vitality on 15 maps and carries a solid 1 K/D ratio. He looks to be a solid tournament option especially if you are putting him in a NiP stack.
Nexa is $7,000 on DK and is $11,400 on FD so he is more of a true value on DK. Over the last 19 maps he has played, he has carried a 1.09 K/D ratio which is the second-highest K/D ratio on the G2 squad over the last month. He has a .68 kill per round rate while having a .63 death rate over that stretch and serves as a great salary saver for tournaments. Over his last 10 games, he has had 8 of them go for 50+ DK points so he can be used in cash games and tournament lines while also being looked at as a viable value captain option as well.
Other value plays: AmaNek, hobbit

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
G2 looked overmatched against Astralis and has a chance to bounce back against Heretics on this upcoming slate. While Heretics has been a team that we have used quite a bit as a value play, this is not the most ideal spot to use them. G2 went 4-3 in group B stage play in the Road to Rio Europe and had a +30 round differential while Heretics went 3-4 and had a -16 round differential. Over the last month, G2 has carried a 1.08 K/D ratio while going 10-9 over their last 919 maps played. Heretics has a team K/D ratio of 1.07 and a record of 16-14 over their last 30 games but they have also benefited from playing one game matches against lesser opponents outside of the Road to Rio qualifier. kennyS has been playing amazing over the last month as he has a 1.26 K/D ratio over the last 19 maps played. Nexa and huNter- are both viable gpp pairings due to the price points they are at.
NiP has been a team that has been rolling lately with their overall team play. They have won three of their last five games and enter this match with all five of their players having a 1+ rating for the Road to Rio qualifier event. Vitality is a tough team when Zyw0o is on his game but outside of him, the rest of the squad does not pose a major threat. Zyw0o is the only player with an above 1 K/D ratio as Vitality has a team K/D ratio of .99 over the last month. NiP has had a team K/D ratio of 1.09 and all five have carried an above 1 K/D ratio throughout the Road to Rio event. Plopski and nawwk are leading the team with above 1.10 K/D ratios while Lekr0 provides good value at his price point.
Other stacks/ teams: Winstrike

Another profitable night after a few break even or off nights due to trying to get too cute with lineup construction. @RotoBaller free articles remain ? as they have been. @mr_malmanger @ThunderDanDFS @grownfool pic.twitter.com/l015HO49GX
