Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings and FanDuel.
We have a three-game main slate on DraftKings that is a part of the ESL One: Road to Rio qualifier. This has been an awesome tournament so far and has provided us with some great, competitive matches. We have a number of really good teams in action today and some really closely projected matches which should make for an awesome GPP slate.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel for Sunday, May 17th, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

Road to Rio (Best of 3)
- Winstrike (+190) vs. Spirit (-265)
- Hard Legion (+195) vs. Virtus.Pro (-275)
- NiP (-275) vs. Heretics (+190)
CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
Jame is the highest-priced player on the DraftKings slate at $8,800 which is quite a steal considering the form that Jame has currently been playing at. He has had a 1.37 K/D ratio over the last month and has a .74 kill per round rate while having a .54 death per round rate over the same time span.
Over the last 12 months, Jame has faced Hard Legion on three total maps and has a 1.11 K/D ratio against them. He is one of the better overall players on the slate and should be considered for all types of formats on this slate.
Plopski has been one of the more consistent plays for NiP over the last month. He is in the top tier of pricing at $8,600 on DraftKings and he is averaging 58.6 DraftKings points per game. In his last 10 games played, he has scored 50+ DraftKings points in nine of those contests.
He has carried a 1.09 K/D ratio over the last month while having a .72 kill per round rate. He might not bring the most upside to the captain role but if you are looking for a consistent play that won’t tank your lineup, plopski is your choice.
Other captain plays: nawwk, buster, mir
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
iDISBALANCE has been on fire for Spirit over the last month. He has a 1.26 K/D ratio over his last 29 maps played and has a .69 kill per round rate while having a .55 death per round rate over that same time span.
He is priced at $6,800 and is averaging 42.7 DraftKings points per game but has had six straight games where he scored above 50 DraftKings points. With his recent form, he stands out as a great tournament play.
Lekr0 has been really impressive lately and is severely underpriced for the upside that he presents. He is just $6,200 and has had 10 straight games of 40+ DraftKings points. With his price point being so low, he opens up a lot of salary which could be needed on this slate.
If you’re really wanting to get aggressive with your lineup, Lekr0 could be a salary saving option for the captain spot since he has had a K/D ratio of 1.09 over the last month.
Other value plays: chopper, magixx, Nivera

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
NiP has dropped two straight games but this is a great bounce-back spot against Heretics. It is tough for me to go against Heretics since they have done well for us in various spots throughout this tournament but now is not the time to attack NiP.
These two teams are fighting for 5th place so this game does carry importance for both squads. Over the last month, NiP has had a team K/D ratio of 1.08 and they are 4-2 in 6 career maps played against Heretics. NiP has had all five of their squad members carry a K/D ratio above1 over the last month with nawwk leading the way with a 1.13 ratio.
Both Lekr0 and plopski have carried a 1.09 K/D ratio and serve as great stacking partners for a NiP stack. All five of their members are in play based on price and the idea of rolling out a three-man stack for tournaments could be a good tournament strategy.
Virtus.Pro really stands out as a great stacking option on this slate. They have won three of their last five games and even though they dropped a three-game series a week ago to Hard Legion. This sets up to be a great revenge opportunity for this squad as they fight for a 3rd place finish in the Road to Rio- CIS tournament.
VP has a team K/D ratio of 1.06 over the last month while Hard Legion has only carried a .94 team K/D ratio. Over the last month, VP has had three players carry above 1 K/D ratio. Jame leads the way with a 1.37 ratio while buster has had a 1.15 K/D ratio and qikert has had 1.05 K/D ratio. These would be the main three targets to look at if looking at using Virtus.Pro.
Other stacks/teams: Spirit
