DreamHack Masters Spring 2020- (Best of 3)
- North (+105) vs. Heroic (-145)
- G2 (+215) vs Astralis (-305)
- Liquid (EVEN) vs. Furia (-140)
CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
Device is the best player on the best team so it’s hard to not consider him every slate. He is averaging 65.3 DK points per game and is the highest-priced player on this slate at $10,200. He has had four straight games where he has put up 70+ DK points and has had 15 straight games where he has had above 50+ DK points which is extremely impressive. Over the last month, Device has had a 1.36 K/D ratio over a 28 map stretch. During that same stretch, he has produced a .83 kill per round rate while having a .61 death per round rate. He should be in cash game lineups and could be viewed as a contrarian option for tournaments due to his high price tag.
Niko could be a lower owned captain option for this slate. He is the second-highest priced player on the slate and carries a 50.8 DK point per game average. Over the last month, he has produced a 1.10 K/D ratio and has a .73 kill per round rate while having a .66 death per round rate. Over the last 12 months, niko has faced North in six maps and in that span, he has produced a 1.05 K/D ratio. With the other high powered teams on this slate, you could see niko come in at lower ownership which makes him more of a tournament play for this slate.
Other captain plays: KSCERATO, Xyp9x
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
Stavn is definitely under-priced on this slate at just $6,600. He has led the Heroic squad in K/D ratio over the last month with a 1.12 K/D ratio while also carrying a 1.08 K/D ratio over the last three months. Over the last month he has had a .69 kill per round rate while also having a .62 death per round rate. He is averaging 54.8 DK points per game and serves to be one of the better overall value plays on the slate for both cash and tournament lineups.
HEN1 is still underpriced at $7,000 and is coming off of a 78.5 DK point performance against MiBR. He has now had nine straight games where he has hit above 50+ DK points and looks to be another great value play against Liquid. In his career against Liquid, he has faced them on 43 maps and carries a 1.28 K/D ratio against them. Over his last month, HEN1 has had a 1.32 K/D ratio and has a .73 kill per round rate and a .55 death per round rate. HEN1 should be viable in all formats and is a great captain play for his price and based on his recent form.
Other value plays: cadiaN, JUGi, dupreeh

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
Heroic has recently gone through a small rough stretch of games as they have faced G2 and Astralis over their last two games. Outside of those games, they have won two of their other three games played so they look to be in decent form heading into this game against North. Over their last month, Heroic has produced a team K/D ratio of 1.04 while North has carried a team K/D ratio of .91 so there clearly is an edge that favors Heroic. Heroic is 5-1-1 all-time against North and have won three out of their last four maps against them. The pricing on the Heroic squad is pretty moderate and you can either stack some of their players or utilize them as one-offs. Niko and stavn have both carried an above 1.10 K/D ratio over the last month with cadiaN carrying a 1.03 K/D ratio over the same timeframe.
Astralis are just on fire and there’s no reason not to consider them against G2. We all know I love writing up G2, especially kennyS, but Astralis have been steamrolling opponents left and right. Astralis are currently riding a 10 game win streak and hold a 77.8% win rate over the last three months. They have also finished opponents 2-0 in seven over their last eight matches played so they are truly deserving of their #1 designation in the world. Device leads the way as the top player for this squad and is always in play. His price is extremely high so you might need to look for an additional value piece for your lineups. Xyp9x is in the mid 7k range and is always a great play with him usually being under priced. Dupreeh and JUGi provide the value plays for this Astralis squad and could make for great one-off plays if you are limiting your exposure to this squad (I personally wouldn’t).
Other stacks/teams: Furia
