Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CSGO contests on Draftkings and FanDuel.
We have a five-game slate that is a part of the ESL One: Road to Rio qualifier. This has been an awesome tournament so far and has provided us with a steady stream of solid 4-6 match slates. We have a number of really good teams in action today and some really closely projected matches which should make for an awesome GPP slate.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel for Thursday, May 7th, 2020 at 9:00 AM. Notice the earlier start time to the main slate on both sites recently! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

- forZe (-2000) vs. Unique (+700)

- G2 (-950) vs. c0ntact (+475)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
kennyS has been on fire recently as he has posted a 1.29 K/D ratio over the last three months. He has a .74 kill per round rate while only having a .57 death per round rate. He is the most expensive G2 player on DraftKings at $9,000 while he is priced at $12,000 over on FanDuel.
Over his last eight games, he has had 7 of them go for at least 50+ on DraftKings which makes him viable for both cash and tournament lineups.
Xsepower is the highest priced forZe player on this slate on both sites ($9,600 on DraftKings / $11,300 on FanDuel). He has been the strongest forZe player over the last three months as he has posted a 1.17 K/D ratio over the last month while also having a 1.20 K/D ratio over the last three months.
In his career against Unique, he has accumulated a 1.44 K/D ratio over a nine map span which is extremely good. He carries enough upside on both sites and is a very strong captain/MVP play on this slate.
Mir is underpriced on both sites in my opinion and could be a great value play at the captain/MVP spot on this slate. Over the last three months, he has carried a 1.19 K/D ratio with a .75 kill per round rate and a .63 death per round rate.
In this most recent month, he has played 42 total maps and has accumulated a 1.25 K/D ratio and a .77 kill per round rate. He is only $7,400 on DraftKings and $10,600 on FanDuel which makes him viable on both sites in all formats.
Other captain plays: huNter-, sh1ro, nexa, FL1T
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
AmaNek is just $6,400 on DraftKings / $9,800 on FanDuel and is a great value piece if you are looking to get exposure to one of the major favorite teams on the slate. He is averaging 46.4 DraftKings points per game and has accumulated a 1.07 K/D ratio over the last 44 maps played.
He has a .63 kill per round rate while having a .59 death per round rate. He is a great salary saver on both sites and is viable in all formats.
Jerry is the cheapest forZe player on DraftKings at $6,200 but is not quite the value over on FanDuel where he is the third-highest priced forZe player at $10,000. Jerry has faced Unique over nine maps and has a 1.10 K/D ratio which makes him a great overall value play based on his recent form and his career numbers against Unique.
Over the last month, he has had the third-highest K/D ratio on the team at a 1.01 ratio which is solid for his price point on DraftKings.
Other value plays: somedieyoung, magixx, loWel

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
forZe is a -2000 favorite and it is hard to go against them on this slate. Even though forZe have only won two of their last five games, UNique has dropped five straight games and hasn’t won a single round which tells us they have been really off when it comes to their form.
As a team, forZe has accumulated a team K/D ratio of 1.05 over the last three months while Unique has a .93 K/D ratio over the same timespan. Xsepower and FL1T have been the two main pieces for this forZe squad as they both have an above 1.15 K/D ratio over the last three months while also having high K/D ratios over the last month as well. Jerry provides value for this forZe stack as he has a +5 K/D differential and a 1.01 K/D ratio over the last month.
G2 is a big favorite on this slate against c0ntact so this looks to be a good G2 stacking spot. They have won three out of their last five games while c0ntact has dropped five straight games so the recent form edge goes to G2.
They also own the head-to-head record against c0ntact with a 5-3-1 record. Right now, G2 sits in 2nd in Group B of the Road to Rio- Europe qualifier with a 3-2 record while c0ntact is 0-5 with a -21 round differential. G2 has been in really good form as they have had a team K/D ratio of 1.12 over the last 12 maps they have played.
Over that stretch, all five players have carried an above 1 K/D ratio with kennyS and Nexa having a 1.10+ K/D ratio which leads the squad. HuNter- hasn’t shown as much upside over the past month but is still carrying a 1.17 K/D ratio over the last three months.
Other stacks/ teams: Spirit
