BLAST Premier Spring Finale 2021
Best of 3
- Gambit (-525) vs. Evil Geniuses (-125)
- NIP (-145) vs. Complexity
Captain Plays:
sh1ro is the top option on this slate and it's not even close. He has the highest ceiling of any player and has been on fire for this Gambit squad. When looking at his last 34 maps played, he has managed to produce a 1.54 K/D ratio and has a .75 kill per round rate while having a very low death per round rate of .49. If you're looking to pay up at the captain spot, look no further than sh1ro.
blameF comes into this game with a bit of a pricing discount which makes me really like him in this matchup. BlameF leads the Complexity squad with a 1.17 K/D ratio over his last 19 maps played and has produced a .71 kill per round rate while having a low death per round rate of .61. BlameF has produced 50+ DK points in four straight games and has major point-scoring upside as he has hit the 80+ point mark in two of those games.
Other captain plays in order of preference: Ax1LE, device
Value Plays:
jks has been the second-best complexity member over the last 19 maps that he has played as he has accrued a 1.09 K/D ratio and has a +30 K/D differential during that span. Jks has been extremely reliable as he has scored 50+DK points in four straight games and has hit the 70+ point mark in two out of those four games so he could be viewed as a cheap captain option in case you were needing salary relief.
oBo is one Evil Genius player that could be viewed as a solid one-off against Gambit. He has produced a 1.05 K/D ratio over his last 14 maps played which is the highest K/D ratio on the EG squad over the last month. OBo does have some upside as he has scored 50+ DK points in three out of his last five games and has managed to go plus in four out of his last six games played.
Other value plays in order of preference: k0nfig, michu, CeRq, interz, hampus, plopski

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:
Gambit is the clear-cut top stack on this slate and comes into this matchup in great form as they have won five straight games while managing to sweep four out of five of those matchups as well. As a team, they are sporting a 1.18 K/D ratio over their last 34 maps played while Evil Geniuses have only won two of their last six matches that they have played and are sporting a 5-9 record with a .90 team K/D ratio over their last 14 maps played. The big three for Gambit are all in play (sh1ro, Ax1LE, Hobbit) as they all have produced a K/D ratio above 1.20 over their last 34 maps played. if you're looking for a value play, nafany would the choice as he has 60 point DK upside and has hit that mark in three out of his last five games played.
Other Stacks: Complexity/ NiP (hedge with a lean-to Complexity)
