IEM Summer
Best of 1 (BO1)
- Heroic (-650) vs. Imperial
- Evil Geniuses vs. Spirit (-240)
- OG (-105) vs. NiP (-130)
- Fnatic vs. Virtus.Pro (-200)
Captain Plays:
Jame has been a favorite of mine in the captain spot for quite some time and he looks like he could be one of the highest-scoring players in this best of 1 format. He is leading Virtus.Pro with a 1.35 K/D ratio over his last 25 maps played and has a .74 kill per round rate and a .55 death per round rate during that span. When looking at Jame over the last six months in the BO1 format, he has produced a 1.59 K/D ratio in just two maps played and has one of the higher ceilings on the entire slate.
mir has been a steady presence for this spirit squad over the past year and for the price point that he is at on this slate, he looks to be a very viable captain pick, especially for the Bo1 format. Over the last month, mir has generated a 1.10 K/D ratio and has accrued a .70 kill per round rate and a .63 death per round rate while also sporting over a 50% headshot percentage. Even though he doesn't carry the highest ceiling on the slate, he does bring a good floor which is needed in your cash game builds.
Other captain plays in order of preference: TeSeS, cadiaN, degster, device
Value Plays:
sjuush might be the best overall value on the slate and would be one to incorporate in all formats in this four-game slate. He has produced a 1.11 K/D ratio over his last 19 maps played which is tied for the second-highest K/D ratio on the Heroic squad. He has a kill per round rate of .67 while having only a .61 death per round rate of .61 and is sporting a 75.1% KAST rating (percentage of rounds where the player either recorded a kill, assist, or survived) which is extremely solid. With Heroic being a top stacking squad, he would be an ideal fit for both cash games and tournament lineups.
buster is in a solid price range, especially for the recent form that he has been in. Over his last 25 maps played, buster has sported a 1.12 K/D ratio and has gone plus in five out of his last seven matches played. From a numbers standpoint, buster has a .67 kill per round rate and a .60 death per round rate over his last month's worth of maps played and could provide some value, especially if you're looking for a safer cash game play on the slate.
Other value plays in order of preference: sdy, refrezh, qikert, magixx, AleksiB, oBo, Plopski, niko, fer

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:
Heroic is the heaviest favorite on this slate and while their price points are high, they are one of the top teams to three-man stack on this B01 slate. They are 13-6 over their last 19 maps played and have a team K/D ratio of 1.10 while their opponent, Imperial, comes into this matchup with a record of 3-2 over their last five maps played and are sporting a team K/D ratio of 1.03. Heroic comes into this matchup with the map advantage over Imperial and should be able to walk away with a win. When looking at their roster, all five members are in play.
TeSeS, cadian, and sjuush have been the top three players over the last month and it would be wise to try to fit at least two of them into your Heroic stacks with sjuush being the best value on the slate. Refrezh also looks to be a viable value option as he has a 1.05 K/D ratio over the last month of games played and has flashed upside from a dfs perspective.
Other Stacks: V.P, Spirit
