Nine to Five Dawn
Best of 3
- LDLC (-185) vs. Sinners (+135)
- BIG Academy (+135) vs. 9INE (-185)
LDLC vs. Sinners
Vegas has LDLC as the favorites in this matchup but it could be a closer game than what Vegas is predicting. Both of these squads are ranked in the top 100 with LDLC being the higher-ranked squad. From a recent edge standpoint, Sinners look to have a slight edge.
They have won four of their last five matches and also have a higher winning percentage on four of the seven tournament maps. Sinners have also gone 14-12 while carrying a 1.04 team K/D ratio over the last month while LDLC went 22-24 with a team K/D ratio of 1.01 over the same time span.
There’s several plays on both squads that should be considered on this small slate, especially since this could be a closer game than anticipated. From the LDLC side, hAdji leads this team in K/D ratio with a 1.15 K/D ratio and a +125 K/D differential over the last 46 maps played. SIXER and bodyy have both played well as well over the last month as they have both produced K/D ratios above 1.10.
On the Sinners squad, NEOFRAG leads the way with a 1.14 K/D ratio and +65 K/D differential over their last 26 maps played. In addition to him, SHOCK and beastik have played well as they carry above a 1 K/D ratio over the same timespan. Both are on the cheaper side of things and provide as good value plays if you choose to stack Sinners.
Pick: Sinners win 2-1
BIG Academy vs. 9INE
This looks to be another close game and the numbers seem to validate that. Both BIg Academy and 9INE are ranked outside of the top 100 and have won one game out of their last five matches played. 9INE has gone 4-9 over their last 13 maps played and produced a .96 team K/D ratio while BIG Academy has gone 7-10 over their last 17 maps played while producing a .93 team K/D ratio. These teams seem to match one another from a recent form standpoint with 9INE having a slight advantage when it comes to the map stats.
From the BIG Academy point of view, they have a strong duo in Krimbo and PANIX. Both players lead this group in K/D ratio over the last month with PANIX being the better value of the two with his $7,200 price tag. If looking for even more of a value play on BIG Academy, prosus checks in at $6,600 and has had the third-highest K/D ratio on the squad.
Pivoting over to the 9INE squad, they arguably have the highest-upside player on the slate in Izzy. Izzy leads this squad with a 1.31 K/D ratio over the last 13 maps played and has a +62 K/D differential. He carries the largest upside based on that ratio so he should not be overlooked. Another player to consider is xfl0ud who ranks second on the team with a 1.01 K/D ratio over his last 13 maps played.
BIG Academy wins 2-1
Captain: Izzy, Krimbo, NEOFRAG, hAdji
Pool: beastik, PANIX, bodyy, SIXER, SHOCK, prosus, xfl0ud
