Best of 1
- Syman (-500) vs. lvlUP (+315)
- NAVI Junior (-260) vs. Izako Boars (+190)
Syman vs. lvlUP
We are used to seeing Bo3 series but unfortunately, this slate is focused on Bo1 series. Syman is ranked #44 overall while lvlUP comes into this matchup being ranked #94 in the world. Both squads have won two of their last five matches with Syman having the head-to-head edge with a 2-0 record. In the two maps that they played lvlUP, Syman won convincingly with 16-5 and 16-2 rounds which leads us to believe that they can do this again in a Bo1 setting.
Based on the info above, Syman looks to be a great team to consider fully three-man stacking on this slate. Mou looks to be underpriced based on his recent play and should be a popular captain play. He has had a 1.16 K/D ratio over the last 35 maps played and has a +97 K/D differential during that time span. He holds a large chunk of the kill share and should be a top play on the slate.
N0rb3r7 and Keoz are great stacking pieces as they both have 1 K/D ratios over their last 35 maps played. If you were looking to go against the grain, the main target from lvlUP would be DiMKE who leads lvlUP with a 1.13 K/D ratio over his last 38 maps played.
Pick: Syman
NAVI Junior vs. Izako Boars
This is an intriguing matchup as we see NAVI Jr. take on the Izako Bears. Izako has gone 14-10 over their last 24 maps played while NAVI Jr. hasn’t played a match in over a month but have gone 23-21 over their last three months played. NAVI Jr. could see some rust but knowing that they are the junior team of NAVI, they shouldn’t be as rusty as other squads that don’t have a parent team to work with.
They do own the map advantage over Izako which could play a factor, especially in a Bo1 series. In addition, they are carrying a 1.07 team K/D ratio while Izako has carried a team K/D ratio of .95 over their 24 maps played.
Each squad has several players that carry upside so both sides will be mentioned. NAVI Jr. is led by Gospadarov who is priced down at $6,800 but leads this squad in K/D ratio over the last 44 maps played with a 1.19 ratio. He provides good salary relief at the captain spot but also carries upside. B1T and Aunkere serve as great stacking pieces but are on the higher end of the pricing spectrum so you might need to get some value to fit them in.
Kapacho carries a 1 K/D ratio over the last month and is a value option from NAVI Jr. On the Izako Bears squad, Siuhy looks to be the main guy to target as he has a 1.04 K/D ratio over the last 24 maps played.
Pick: NAVI Juniors
Captain: Mou, Gospadarov, DiMKE
Pool: n0rb3r7,Aunkere, Kapacho, B1T, Keoz, Siuhy
