DreamHack Open Fall 2020 Closed Qualifier
Best of 3 Series
- Tyloo vs. Bren
- Checkmate vs. beyond
- Zigma vs. Tiger
Captain Plays:
DANK1NG has been in the best form of the Tyloo players over the past month of games played. Throughout his last 22 maps played, he has produced a 1.20 K/D ratio while having the largest K/D differential of +78. Over the same stretch of games, he has produced a .79 kill per round rate while limiting his death per round rate to just .66. He carries the highest price tag on the slate but is worth paying up due to his strong play and form.
erkaSt carries the most upside on Tiger and sits at a very good price point of $7,800. He is averaging 64.3 DK points per game and has produced a very strong 1.34 K/D ratio over his last 12 maps played. He is one of the safest players on the slate as he has a strong .88 kill per round rate while carrying a low death per round rate of just .66. With a differential like that, he is viable in all formats.
Other captain plays: somebody, bLitz
Value Plays:
kabal looks to be one of the best points for dollar plays on the entire slate. Over his last 12 maps played, kabal has produced a 1.25 K/D ratio which is fantastic for his $6,800 price tag. In addition, he carries a kill per round rate of .79 while having a low death per round rate of .63. With knowing these numbers, kabal is also in consideration as a value captain play based on his upside and form.
papichulo looks to be more of a value tournament play on this slate. He is facing the top team on the slate and in order for Bren to truly compete in this game, they will need him to bring his "A" game. Over the last month, Papichulo has produced a 1.18 K/D ratio while carrying a .74 kill per round rate. He is not the safest play base don the matchup but is one that could come in lower owned which makes him intriguing for his pricepoint of just $6,800.
Other value plays: Roux, nin9, kaz

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:
Tyloo looks to be the best stacking option on this slate. They are priced all the way up for good reason but will be a tough stack to squeeze together due to price. Tyloo has gone 15-7 over their last 22 games played and has produced a team K/D ratio of 1.08 over that same time span. They are winners of four of their last five matches played and carry a strong map advantage as they have a higher winning percentage on six of the seven viable tournament maps. Tyloo is 7-3-1 all-time against Bren and has swept two straight matches against them.
In all reality, all five of the Tyloo squad members are in play on this slate. The difficult part is trying to piece together a line with these high priced salaries. DANK1NG leads the group in the K/D ratio over the last month with a 1.20 while somebody and SLOWLY hover around the 1.10 K/D ratio.
After digging in for a second team to target on this slate, Tiger stands out to me based on form and pricing. They are winners of three of their last five games played and have gone 7-5 over their last 12 games played while ZIGMA has gone 7-5 over their last 12 games played as well. ZIGMA has gone 2-0 against Tiger in the past but Tiger looks to carry the map advantage on four of the seven viable maps.
This squad has performed well and four of their players really look to be in good form heading into this slate. erkaSt carries the largest K/D ratio on the team as it sits at 1.34 while kabal has produced a 1.25 K/D ratio over their last 12 maps played. dobu and nin9 serve as great stacking partners as well as they are also moderately priced and carry above 1.10 K/D ratios over the last month of games played.
Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Checkmate (AGO)
