BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 6% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Wow, has anyone noticed that South Korea is having a pretty good year in the MLB? That is in big part to the success of newcomer Dae Ho Lee, who in just 98 AB has hit eight HR as well as producing a fantastic slash line of .296/.337/.541. With an isolated power number of .245 and a HR% of 7.7%, it is impressive that Lee is striking out 18.3% of the time when most sluggers typically strike out above the league rate. If you know anything about Lee's career in the Korean and Japanese league, the pop in his bat shouldn't surprise you. In 6,170 AB since 2001 he has hit 323 HR and produced a monster slash line of .303/.387/.514. I believe we have established that statistics from these two leagues transfer quite nicely to the United States, and if we are talking about track record, Lee backs up his MLB success with 15 years of power hitting. The only issue with Lee this year has been lack of consistent playing time, but if he continues to hit, that should resolve itself over time.
