Alex Avila is now on the DL.

Joe Ross will not start Tuesday due to a blister on his right middle finger.

Joe Mauer is not starting tonight for the Minnesota Twins.

Jed Lowrie is not starting for the Oakland Athletics. Tyler Ladendorf will start in his place.

Yoenis Cespedes is not playing tonight due to a sore leg. Juan Lagares will replace him in the outfield.

Bryce Harper is getting a day off today.

Miguel Cabera and Justin Upton are both out for the Detroit Tigers today.

Rougned Odor will leadoff today for the Texas Rangers.

Brandon Belt and Denard Span will take the night off. Trevor Brown is playing catcher, while Buster Posey rotates to first base. Gregor Blanco will start in center field for Span.

John Jaso, Francisco Cervelli, and Josh Harrison are all out of the lineup for the Pirates tonight. Jason Rogers will play first base, Chris Stewart is going to catch, and Sean Rodriguez will start at second base.

Chris Iannetta is not starting tonight for the Seattle Mariners. Steve Clevenger will start at catcher.

Matt Holliday is out for the St. Louis Cardinals. Jeremy Hazelbaker is in.
