DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider
Yu Darvish - P, at NYM (DK - $11,000, FD - $9,300)
Darvish has certainly had a few ups and downs this season, as he enters this game with a 6-9 record, 4.01 ERA, and 9.7 K/9. He'll be making his first start for his new team, though, and he gets a matchup against a boom or bust Mets offense. Darvish should receive more run support throughout the rest of the season, and he is currently a -127 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.
Eduardo Rodriguez - P, vs CWS (DK - $6,900, FD - $8,000)
Rodriguez is far from the most consistent option on the slate, but he comes with surprisingly low price tags. He gets a great matchup against the White Sox, and E-Rod has a 1-0 record, 3.38 ERA, and 11.5 K/9 through five home starts. He's a massive -210 favorite in a game set at 9.5 runs, and he's an elite salary relief option on the slate tonight.
DFS Infielders to Consider
Tyler Flowers - C, vs MIA (DK - $3,700, FD - $2,700)
Flowers has looked outstanding recently, as he's hitting over .350 with tremendous power over his last 10 games. He also gets a great matchup against Adam Conley, and he will be playing in Atlanta's newly hitter friendly stadium. His price has yet to catch up to his production, and Flowers can be used in all leagues.
Joey Gallo - 1B, at MIN (DK - $4,600, FD - $3,700)
Gallo isn't a player that is known for his consistency, but his power is other worldly. On the season, nearly 50% of his hits have been home runs and over 50% over his hits have gone for extra-bases. He's also hitting nearly .300 over his last 10 games, and over 50% of his hits over that span have been home runs. He gets an elite matchup against Bartolo Colon, and Gallo can be used in all leagues.
Rougned Odor - 2B, at MIN (DK - $4,900, FD - $3,600)
Odor is a player that comes with tremendous upside because of his elite combination of speed and power. He has also caught fire over his last 10 games with an average over .300 and an OPS over 1.200 during that span. He also has a 0.101 wOBA and 0.21 ISO differential against right-handed pitching. He gets a matchup against Bartolo Colon tonight, and Odor can be considered in all leagues.
Josh Donaldson - 3B, at HOU (DK - $4,600, FD - $4,300)
Donaldson has struggled quite a bit this season, but he has finally caught fire over his last 10 games. Over that span, he's hitting over .300 with great power. He gets a solid matchup against Brad Peacock in a hitter friendly stadium, and Donaldson has been better on the road this season. He can be used in all leagues on this slate.
Jordy Mercer - SS, vs SD (DK - $2,900, FD - $2,300)
Mercer has surprisingly hit right-handed pitching better than lefties this season, but he's hitting nearly .300 against left-handed pitching throughout his career. He gets a good matchup against Travis Wood tonight, and while Mercer hasn't looked dominant recently, he's a fairly consistent option that can be used in all leagues, especially in a Pirates stack tonight.
DFS Outfielders to Consider
Andrew McCutchen - OF, vs SD (DK - $5,400, FD - $4,000)
McCutchen is in an elite position tonight. He is hitting over .300 with an OPS nearing 1.200 over his last 10 games. He has also looked elite at home this season, as he's hitting over .300 in Pittsburgh this year. Finally, he gets a great matchup against Travis Wood, and McCutchen has a 0.108 wOBA and 0.216 ISO differential against left-handed pitching. He can safely be used in all leagues.
Austin Jackson - OF, vs NYY (DK - $3,600, FD - $2,900)
Jackson is another player that has dominated left-handed pitching this season, as he enters this game with a 0.102 wOBA and 0.151 ISO differential against lefties. He gets a matchup against Jaime Garcia tonight, and Jackson has been on fire recently, as he is hitting over .400 over his last 10 games. He makes a great option on this slate.
