DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider
Carlos Carrasco - vs KC (DK- $13,300, FD - $10,800)
Carrasco has put together an absolutely incredible last 30 days, throwing 40 2/3 innings with 49 strikeouts and a 1.99 ERA. Remarkably, he has walked just three batters over that span, leading to a 0.93 WHIP. He faces the Royals on Saturday, a team with just a .315 wOBA against righties. This ranks them at 23rd in all of baseball. Carrasco will have no troubles with this lineup, so if you're willing to spend on him, it should pay off nicely.
Kyle Hendricks - vs STL (DK - $8,600, FD - $8,600)
As a cheaper option, you can roll with Hendricks against the Cardinals. He's put together a very strong month of his own, throwing 32 1/3 innings of 3.06 ERA ball. Hendricks has thrown six straight quality starts, so he's a good idea in cash games, where his high floor plays well.
DFS Infielders to Consider
Evan Gattis - C, at HOU (DK - $3,000, FD - $2,200)
If Gattis is in the Astros lineup, he's a fantastic cheap option at catcher. He's got a 115 wRC+ against righties this year and is facing off against Erasmo Ramirez, owner of a poor 4.67 FIP. The rest of the Astros lineup should also have success against Ramirez, which will lead to more run and RBI opportunities for Gattis.
Wil Myers - 1B, at COL (DK - $4,500, FD - $4,900)
Myers is the top first baseman on Saturday, and for good reason. He gets to hit in baseball's best offensive environment, Coors Field. Myers also has a 121 wRC+ against lefties, and Rockies starter Tyler Anderson has a 5.75 ERA (and of course, is left-handed.) Myers is an expensive bat to build the rest of your lineup around.
Starlin Castro - 2B, vs BAL (DK - $3,700, FD - $2,900)
If you're looking for a team to stack, the Yankees at home against Jeremy Hellickson might be your best bet. Hellickson has a 5.66 FIP with an insane 1.86 HR/9, and Yankee Stadium is an extreme hitter's park. Castro is one of the cheapest Yankees on the slate, even though his .299/.335/.458 isn't bad at all for a second baseman.
Justin Turner - 3B, at WAS (DK - $4,400, FD - $3,800)
Turner has found his groove again in the last 15 days, putting up a .319 batting average with a 1.003 OPS. Turner's price is incredibly low for the season he's had, as he's got a 153 wRC+, and more walks than strikeouts. Take advantage of this price while you can.
Marcus Semien - SS, at PHI (DK - $3,900, FD - $3,900)
Whether he's batting first or second in the A's lineup, Semien is in a position to score multiple runs against Ben Lively and the Phillies. Lively's 4.64 FIP suggest that there's regression coming his way, and Semien will benefit from the hitter's park in Philadelphia.
DFS Outfielders to Consider
Gregory Polanco - OF, at CIN (DK - $3,200, FD - $2,400)
If you need a punt-price play in your lineup, consider Polanco. He's an extraordinary talent when healthy, with a legit power/speed combo. He could get something going in Cincinnati against Sal Romano, a terrific matchup. Polanco should be looked at in GPPs for his upside, since he has a low floor.
Scott Schebler - OF, vs PIT (DK - $3,800, FD - $2,900)
Schebler has quietly put together a good last month, posting a .923 OPS. His opposition, Ivan Nova, has been getting absolutely shelled lately, so Schebler could have a big day against him for a low price.
Odubel Herrera - OF, vs OAK (DK - $4,000, FD - $3,900)
The explosive Odubel Herrera is batting .333 with an .868 OPS in the last 15 days. Batting second in a surprisingly effective Phillies lineup, he could have a big fantasy day against Kendall Graveman.
