Here are some DFS picks at each position for DraftKings lineups that could pay off. With a limited amount of playing time for starters and uncertainty surrounding each position, it's a bit trickier in the preseason.
That said, here are our recommended DFS plays for Saturday, August 26, 2017 on DraftKings for NFL.

DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott (vs Oakland Raiders)
Prescott has only played a few snaps this preseason, but he has 106 yards and a touchdown on only eight attempts. He connected with Dez Bryant for a 32 yard touchdown to cap off an impressive drive. He gets a great matchup against the Raiders, who allowed Jared Goff to throw for 160 yards and a touchdown last week. The Cowboys have a favorable Vegas line this week, as well, and Prescott is an elite option.
Jameis Winston (vs Cleveland Browns)
Winston is another quarterback that has looked outstanding through preseason. He has completed 30 of 42 attempts for 295 yards. He has yet to throw for a touchdown, though, which is a bit concerning. He gets a matchup against an improving Cleveland defense, but Tampa Bay still comes with a good Vegas line this week. Winston could feature Mike Evans in the red zone, as they get their timing down before the season. He makes a high upside option on this slate.
DraftKings DFS Running Backs
Tevin Coleman (vs Arizona Cardinals)
Coleman has looked awful this preseason, as he has totaled -1 yard on three carries. With that being said, he has not been given many opportunities. He will play with the first string offense this week with Devonta Freeman out. Coleman is coming off an elite season on a per touch basis, and he is playing in one of the best offenses in the NFL. He is a player that comes with tremendous touchdown potential, and he should be a staple in lineups tonight.
James Conner (vs Indianapolis Colts)
Le’Veon Bell is expected to join the Steelers on September 1st, which means he will not be playing in the game this week. Last week, Conner saw the majority of the running back snaps for Pittsburgh, as he totaled 20 carries and saw four targets. He will see plenty of opportunities again this week, and he gets a great matchup against the Colts. Generally, players will not see double digit touches in preseason, and Conner’s role this week makes him a great option this weekend.
DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers
Mike Evans (vs Clevalnd Browns)
Evans has been a target hog in the preseason, as he has seen 13 targets through only a few drives. On those targets, he has nine receptions for 115 yards. The Bucs are going to feature Evans in the red zone this season, and they could start that this week. He gets a matchup against an improving Browns defense, but they simply do not have anyone that is going to be able to guard Evans. He will likely be owned at an extremely high percentage, but he’s a “fade at your own risk” type of player.
Sterling Shepard (vs New York Jets)
Shepard was not able to play in the Giants first preseason game, but he performed well once he took the field. Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall were both injured in the Giants second game against the Browns, which led the Shepard leading the Giants with five targets. Beckham will not play this week, while Marshall is currently doubtful. Shepard will likely see as many targets as he can handle this week. He gets a great matchup against the Jets, and he makes a great option on this slate.
DraftKings DFS Tight End
Martellus Bennett (at Denver Broncos)
Bennett has only played a few snaps for Green Bay, but he has made the most of them. Last week, he was featured in the red zone, as Aaron Rodgers hit him on a two yard touchdown early in the game. Bennett may not be a huge part of the offense, but he comes with elite touchdown potential. Finding touchdowns is one of the most important aspects of preseason football, which is why Bennett is so valuable on this slate.
