Daily Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks (PGA DFS): WGC- Cadillac Championship

Adam Scott defeated Sergio Garcia by one stroke to win the Northern Trust Open. Rickie Fowler was playing the best golf before the weekend, not bogeying in the first two rounds, but couldn't sustain his strong play, as he finished T6.

I thought I found the gem of the tournament, George McNeill, after Thursday, as he was tied for the lead for much of the day at 3-under. But he proceeded to shoot a 75, 70, and final round 74 to finish 6-over, T53. My other picks: Branden Grace- cut, Luke Donald- 7-over, T61, Graeme McDowell- 4-under, 5th, Freddie Jacobson- 2-over, T26, Daniel Berger- cut, Keegan Bradley- cut, Jason Bohn- made the cut but withdrew due to a heart attack Saturday, and Ollie Schniederjans, cut.

This week the best 70 players in the world will be playing in Miami, FL., at Trump National Doral. The course is a par 72, and 7,543 yards. The course has been extremely hard since being redesigned for the 2014 championship. Since the redesign, a total of 14 players have finished under par. There will be no cut due to it being a world golf championship event.

Strokes Gained: Putting- In 2014, Reed finished 9th in this category. Bill Haas was the weekly leader and finished T6. Last year Johnson finished 9th, and the weekly leader, Matt Kuchar, was T23.

Strokes Gained: Tee to Green

Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Dustin Johnson ($11,200)

Johnson can bomb the ball which will help him tremendously on this course. He was 4th last week at the Northern Trust Open. As noted above, he finished T4 two years ago and won this tournament last year. He is 9th in T2G, 7th in driving distance, and 105th in SG:P. His putting will have to better this week to finish in the top five again.

Henrik Stenson ($10,300)

Stenson has yet to play on the PGA Tour in 2016, but has played exceptional golf on the European Tour. He finished T3 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in late January, and T6 at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in early February. In 2014, Stenson finished T16 and last year was T4.

J.B. Holmes ($9,400)

Holmes has not finished outside the top 25 all season. He was T24 at the Hyundai, T6 at the Farmers Insurance, T6 at the Phoenix Open, T11 at Pebble Beach, and T11 at the Northern Trust. He is T3 on tour in driving distance, 110th in SG:P, and 6th in SG:T2G. He did not play here in 2014 but finished runner-up last year.

Brandt Snedeker ($8,600)

Snedes had one great January finishing T3 at the Hydunai Tournament, runner-up at the Sony Open, and winning the Farmers Insurance. His February has not lived up to January, but how could it considering how great he played in January. In February, he finished T33 at the Phoenix Open, and T35 at Pebble Beach. He is 13th in SG:P, T46 in T2G, and 57th in driving distance. He finished 46th here in 2014 and T17, 1-over last year.

Bill Haas ($7,900)

Haas has had a good year thus far, T18 at the Hyundai Tournament, T9 at CareerBuilder, cut at Farmers Insurance, T8 at Pebble Beach and cut last week at the Northern Trust. He is T78 in SG:P, 54th in T2G, and T155 in driving distance. He's been in the top 10 both times since the course was redone, T6 in 2014, and T7 last year.

Harris English ($7,600)

English is 55th in driving distance, 33rd in SG:P, and 55th in T2G. He did not play here in 2015, but finished T16th in 2014. His form of late has been good, finishing third at the Phoenix Open and T39 at the Northern Trust. His skills translate well to this course, and it will show this weekend.

Ross Fisher ($6,700)

He did not play here in 2014 but did last year finishing T23, 2-0ver. He finished T35 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and T26 at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. This season he is driving the ball an average of 291 yards, which would be slightly in the top 100 on the PGA Tour. He is cheap and will help with lineup flexibility.

Daniel Berger ($6,600)

Although Berger has yet to play on this course, the fact that he can drive the ball 306 yards, 15th on tour, will surely help. He has been cut three of the past four tournaments but is due for a rebound.
