We have a 10 game main slate tonight, with plenty of options across the board. Tonight looks like it should be huge for stacking, so load up on the stacks where you can, and don't be afraid to punt down a position to fit in some better skaters.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/11/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. DFS Forwards to Consider
John Tavares - C, NYI @ STL (DK - $7,600, FD - $8,400)
The Islanders are coming off a very bad 5-0 loss last night, and they need a solid performance tonight. They not come away with the win, but Tavares has to show he can get it done on the road. He has 18 points in 16 games this season, while averaging 3.25 shots per game. He is on the top forward line and the top power-play unit, so ice time will be maximized for him. He hasn't scored in three games, and with a player this good, he is bound to find the back of the net.
Kyle Okposo - W, NYR @ MON (DK - $4,200, FD - $5,300)
Okposo may not be off to the best star this season, only five points in 14 games, but it's not time to give up on this young Buffalo team. They should be up against a back up goalie in Montreal, so this is an ok spot to roster them. He is averaging over two shots per game, while seeing time on the second forward line, and the second power-play unit. He is best used in a stack, and if you go for the power-play stack, make sure to roster Jack Eichel.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Brent Burns - D, SJ vs. VAN (DK - $6,900, FD - $7,000)
Burns is one of the elite defenders in the league, and even though he has yet to find the back of the net, he still makes a great play. He is on the top defensive pairing and the top power-play unit, and is a workhorse when it comes to ice time. He is averaging over four shots per game, which is higher than some forwards right now. Bruns also chips in with plenty of blocked shots, so he is filling the stat sheet, in all aspects. Great cash game play if you can get up to his salary.
Michael Del Zotto - D, VAN @ SJ (DK - $4,100, FD - $4,100)
Del Zotto has been a good target over the past few weeks since his price isn't that expensive, and he is seeing good minutes. He is on the third defensive pairing, but the second power-play unit. He has seven points in 16 games this season, which is solid for his historic performances. Del Zotto is averaging almost two shots per game, along with almost two blocked shots per game. So similar to Burns, he fills the stat sheet, is just much cheaper. Like in him any format tonight because of the price.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Anton Forsberg - G, CHI @ CAR (DK - $7,400, FD - $7,700)
Forsberg will draw the start for the Blackhawks on the road, and if you are looking to save some money at goalie, he is your guy. He is a road dog, but going up against at Carolina team who really isn't the best this season. Yes, Forsberg has yet to win in three start this season, but his salary is very attractive tonight. He allows you to fit in so many high end skaters, that it's worth the risk. Carolina is also on the second night of a back-to-back, so a fresh Chicago team should be able to pick up the win.
