Mike Ribeiro (C, NSH)
DraftKings - $3,900, FanDuel - $4,300, FantasyAces - $4,550
He doesn't provide a ton of safety with shots but his extremely low price on all sites make him a viable option in all formats. He is playing on teh second line with Craig Smith and Filip Forsberg and is also getting close to 2.5 minutes on the league's 4th ranked powerplay.
Joe Pavelski (W, SJ)
DraftKings - $7,300, FanDuel - $7,800, FantasyAces - $5,450
Dipping into some afternoon action, one of the top plays for the day is going to be Joe Pavelski. The Sharks have struggled to find offense this season but Pavelski is starting to heat up with points in three straight games and in that time has a whopping 19 shots on goal. He is safe in all formats vs. the Islanders and their weak 25th ranked defense.
Ivan Provorov (D, PHI)
DraftKings - $3,600, FanDuel - $3,900, FantasyAces - N/A
He isn't available on FantasyAces today as they are only including a select number of games. It will be hard to avoid him on the other sites as his salary continues to remain in the mid to high $3K range. The rookie is still learning the ropes of the pro game but is coming off his best game with a goal and an assist. While you aren't going to get that level of offensive production nightly he does have a safe floor with blocks and shots and is also playing on the second powerplay unit.
Stacking Option
Boston Bruins - Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak
The Bruins have struggle with scoring all season ranking 22nd in goals per game but will have a great opportunity to get back on track tonight. They face a Flames team that has been pretty good on the road(6-5-1) but has struggled defensively ranking 26th in goals allowed per game(3.1). David Pastrnak jumped back up on the top line last night and recorded his 11th goal of the season and has now averaged a point per game. Patrice Bergeron is ready to snap out of his slump any night now as he has been averaging over four shots on goal per game over the last 10. When he gets it going the whole team gets going and tonight makes a great time to jump on board as the B's should come in low owned.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes
For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.
For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
