We have a massive 11 game slate tonight, and there are fantastic options all across the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 12/09/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Conor McDavid - C, WDM @ MON (DK - $7,800, FD - $8,900)
McDavid is a bit cheaper than he really should be on DraftKings tonight, so you want to take advantage of the minor price mistake. Yes Edmonton may not be the same team they were last year, but McDavid still has 33 points in 28 games this season, and still seeing a ton of minutes. He plays on both the top forward line and the top power-play unit, so he makes a great cash game option if you can get up to his price. With a full slate of games, there will be plenty of value out there for you to find the extra salary.
Tyler Johnson - W, TB vs WPG (DK - $4,400, FD - $4,800)
Johnson has been moved up the first line with Stamkos and Namestnikov, and his price really hasn't changed to much. You want to jump on this while you can, and be a day early with rostering him, before the rest of the field gets on him. He has five points in his last three games, which account for one-third of his points for the entire season. The line change has been great for him, and with taking about two shots per game, he provides plenty of DFS value, along with not being too expensive.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Oilver Ekman-Larsson - D, ARI @ CBJ (DK - $5,000, FD - $5,700)
Ekman-Larsson is one of the more underrated players in the NHL simply because he plays for a bad team, but as they say in basketball, this dude can ball. There really isn't a saying for NHL, but trust me, he is a stud. He really does it all on the ice, he plays a ton of minutes, he takes over two shots per game, and also blocks about one shot per game. Can really fill up the stat sheet, despite being on a team who isn't the most dangerous offensively.
Charlie McAvoy - D, BOS vs NYI (DK - $4,700, FD - $4,600)
McAvoy plays on the top defensive pairing and the second power-play unit, so he will be seeing a ton of minutes against a dangerous Islanders top line. He blocks over one shot per game, along with taking over one shot per game. He only has 15 points in 26 games, this season, but is now up against the Islanders who are giving over three goals per game, and he isn't that expensive, so plenty of upside for him in this match up.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Joonas Korpisalo - G, CLS vs ARI (DK - $8,200, FD - $7,700)
Korpisalo is in line to get the start tonight since the Blue Jackets played last night and Bobrovsky was in net. He has a very favorable match up going against the Coyotes, who are one of the worst teams in the league. He has three wins in six starts this season, and allowing under three goals per game. Much cheap on FanDuel compared to DraftKings tonight.
