We have a big 12 game slate tonight, and there are fantastic options all across the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 12/16/17. DFS Forwards to Consider

John Tavares - C, NYI vs LA (DK - $7,000, FD - $8,200)

Tavares is at home against the Kings who played last night, so take advantage of the back to back situation. Tavares has 37 points in 32 games this season, and has multi-point potential anytime he plays. The Kings started Jonathan Quick last night, so they will likely start their back up tonight, which is a good spot for the Islanders, who are scoring about 3.5 goals per game, which is second in the league. Prime spot for the Islanders tonight, and Tavares is good for cash or GPPs tonight. Stacking the top line with Tavares is a good call.

Artemi Panarin - W, CLS @ CAR (DK - $6,600, FD - $7,200)

Panarin is on the top forward line and the top power-play unit, so we are locked in for a solid amount of playing time. He has 28 points in 32 games this season, along with eight points in his last four games. He is taking about three shots per game, and is up against the Hurricanes, who are on a back to back, and also giving up over three goals per game. great cash game option tonight, as he sees consistent minutes, and against a weak defensive team.

 

DFS Defenders to Consider 

P.K. Subban - D, NSH @ CGY (DK - $5,200, FD - $5,400)

Subban sees over 20 minutes a game, and will be on the ice a ton against the dangerous Calgary top line. He is on the second forward line and the first power-play unit, so the point potential is strong here. I like him in either format tonight, since he has the minutes for consistency in cash games, and the upside from being on the ice to much. We have a big slate tonight, so no need to be worried about ownership.

Cam Fowler - D, ANH @ WAS (DK - $4,100, FD - $5,100)

Fowler will be seeing a ton of minutes tonight, since he is on the top defensive pairing, and will be out there to counter the Capitals top line. Fowler has nine points in 20 games this season, while blocking about 1.5 shots per game. Good cash option tonight since the minutes will be there.

 

DFS Goalies to Consider

Carey Price - G, MON @ OTT (DK - $7,900, FD - $8,700)

Price is up against the Senators, who simply put, are not good. They are struggling on offense and don't have multiple lines that can score. This puts Price in a good spot, since he won't be threatened a ton. Price has nine wins in 20 starts this season, and coming off a game, where he only gave up one goal.
