Patrice Bergeron (C, BOS)
DraftKings - $6,100, FanDuel - $6,700, FantasyAces - $5,000
He's back! It appears Bergeron is finally getting rewarded for his elite shot volume this season. He has scored in three of his last four and has four goals in his last 10 games while recording 43 shots on goal. At his current salary, he is safe in all formats tonight.
Max Pacioretty (W, MON)
DraftKings - $6,700, FanDuel - $7,500, FantasyAces - $5,450
The price is quickly going up but it is still not keeping up with the production. Pacioretty has been a very important piece for the Habs as they deal with multiple injuries and has been red hot lately. He has scored goals in three of his last four games and has six in his last 10 to go along with three assists and 34 shots on goal. He has also added four powerplay points and a short-handed goal. He is still safe in all formats vs. the Leafs tonight.
T.J. Brodie (D, CGY)
DraftKings - $4,100, FanDuel - $4,500, FantasyAces - $4,650
Consistent shot blocking or shot volume is not in Brodie's repertoire leaving him to a GPP play only tonight. He definitely comes with offensive upside and is playing his best hockey of the season right now, tallying nine points over his last 10 games. He is a nice salary relief option on FanDuel and DrafKings.
Stacking Option
Boston Bruins - Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak
The Bruins top line has been just average this season and it can be directly tied to Patrice Bergeron's early season slump. Well, he is starting to heat up rewarding his fantasy owners for the elite shot volume along the way. This is great news for David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand who have been carrying the team up to the Christmas break. The matchup isn't the greatest but the Bruins have played better on the road with a 11-7-4 record.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes
For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.
For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
