This week NASCAR visits one of the most famous tracks in the sport of racing. Indianapolis Motor Speedway has hosted a NASCAR Cup race since 1994, where Jeff Gordon won the inaugural race and was the first driver to kiss the famous bricks lining the start/finish line. The Brickyard, over the years, has been a race that is dominated by former champions of the sport. In the 21 races run here at Indianapolis, 17 of them have been won by a driver who has a series championship under his belt. That's a pretty impressive run, and proves you need experience to win on this track.

Another impressive run at the Brickyard has been the dominance of Chevrolet recently. The previous 12 winners here have all drove Chevrolet. This trend could be squashed this year with the introduction of rules changes. NASCAR will implement a new package for Indianapolis which will attempt to help the drivers be able to stay in the gas longer in the corners and hopefully create a closer pack and more passing. The changes at Kentucky were very well received, and NASCAR is hoping for similar results this weekend. We can only wait and see and hope for better racing for both the drivers and the fans.

Daily Fantasy NASCAR: DraftKings Picks

Jimmie Johnson - $12,400

Jimmie returns to the Brickyard with a total of four wins for his career, with his most recent win coming in 2012. In his previous five races here he has a 11.6 average finish with two top 5's to go along with that win. In that five year period Jimmie has led 174 laps, which is most in the series in that time. He is coming off a 22nd place finish and will be looking to get back to victory lane for the 5th time in 2015.

Kyle Busch - $11,600

Well he did it again last week. Kyle picked up his 3rd win in four races at New Hampshire. He has been the most dominant driver in NASCAR over the past four weeks and it doesn't look like he is going to stop until he is firmly inside the Chase grid. In his previous five races at the Brickyard he has finished inside the top 10 in all of them and inside the top 5 twice. He is extremely motivated right now and will be looking to score another top finish and inch even closer to the top 30 in Cup standings.

Martin Truex Jr. - $12,100

Here's another driver in a Chevrolet who will have a shot at winning. He has been hot to start the year but has cooled off a bit recently. After posting back-to-back finishes outside the top 35, he came back the last two weeks with back-to-back top 20 finishes. He should have a very competitive car this weekend and be able to post a top 10 finish here. With his recent struggles he should offer a lower ownership percentage this week, as others should be going for the Johnson's. Harvick's, and Busch's this week.

Kyle Larson - $10,000

He has only raced this track once in the Sprint Cup Series and tallied an impressive 7th place finish last year.  He has been stuck in a rut the last three weeks with no finish inside the top 30 and a 27.4 average finish in his last five races. His ownership percentage should be driven down by this, making it a great time to jump back on board at the Brickyard.

Jamie McMurray - $9,600

He is one of the four drivers without a championship to pick up a win here at the Brickyard. He did so back in 2010 and since that win has one other top 5 finish and two top 15 finishes. His holds a 12.4 average finish in the past five races at Indianapolis. He comes in under $10,000 this week and has been fairly consistent as of late finishing inside the top 15 in four of five races. Look for McMurray to again be competitive at the Brickyard and push for a top 10 finish.

Greg Biffle - $8,600

If you are looking a low owned veteran driver this week, Biffle falls in to that category. He has had an off season and has struggled to find speed. He comes back to a track where he has had success in the past. In his previous five races here he has two top 5's and three top 10 finishes with a 10.0 average finish. He should be able to build confidence here, as he is fighting to make the Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs.
