Daily Fantasy NBA Lineup Picks for FanDuel (1/15/17) - DFS Basketball Advice

This part of the season is the hardest to track, with players coming down with illnesses and the normal wear-and-tear the season has on them, be sure to be constantly checking for injury updates. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/15/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel. With only a few games on the slate, you need to perfect lineup.

It is an awkward slate tonight, so this article will focus only on the main slate starting tonight at 6:00 PM EST.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, at SAC ($12,500)

Russell Westbrook did not look all that great in his last contest, which was against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he should bounce back tonight against the Sacramento Kings. He only posted 46.2 fantasy points in 36 minutes against the Wolves, but he has over 50 fantasy points in five of his last six games. In three of those five games, the Oklahoma City Thunder hero posted at least 65 fantasy points. The Sacramento Kings do not have the defense to shut him down, so Westy can be rostered in both 50/50 contests and tournaments with confidence tonight.

Mike Conley - PG, vs CHI ($7,600)

Despite Russell Westbrook being on the board tonight, Mike Conley is the best point guard option for his price tag. Conley is entirely too cheap across the daily fantasy industry right now. He has over 34 fantasy points in five consecutive games, over 35 fantasy points in four of those five games, and over 40 fantasy points in two of those five games. The Chicago Bulls are not great defensively when it comes to guarding the point guard position, and Conley should be able to take advantage of the mismatch. Pairing Conley with someone like Marc Gasol is a great move in tournaments.

Also Consider: Reggie Jackson - PG, at LAL ($6,400)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Julius Randle - PF, vs DET ($6,700)

Julius Randle is one of the highest upside power forward options on the board tonight, and with only four game to choose from, it will be difficult to avoid him against the Detroit Pistons tonight. The Pistons are not good defensively, and Randle should feast on the glass. He has over 35 fantasy points in three of his last five games, and the Los Angeles Lakers tend to rely heavily on his offensive production. Randle is not the best cash game forward option available, but rostering him in tournaments is a good move.

Marcus Morris - SF, at LAL ($4,700)

On a short slate, Marcus Morris can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight. He is playing over 30 minutes per game for the Detroit Pistons right now, and he has over 25 fantasy points in three of his last five games. Against the Charlotte Hornets, he posted over 35 fantasy points in 36 minutes. That is great production for his price tag. The Los Angeles Lakers love to push the pace of games, but fail to play much defense at all. Morris is one of the best forward options on the board tonight without question.

Also Consider:  Anthony Tolliver - PF, vs OKC ($3,900)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Steven Adams - C, at SAC ($5,800)

Steven Adams really struggled in his last outing, which was against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Adams struggling in such a great matchup really irritated quite a few fantasy owners, but having short-term memory loss in daily fantasy sports is a great thing. In his last six games, he has over 29 fantasy points in all of them. He also has over 34 fantasy points in three of his last six games. The Sacramento Kings are horrible defensively, and Adams should hit value. Pair him with Enes Kanter, if possible. Both Oklahoma City Thunder big men produce in limited minutes.

Also Consider: Montrezl Harrell - C, at BKN ($5,200)
