Daily Fantasy NBA Lineup Picks for FanDuel (12/8/16) - DFS Basketball Advice

It is a rather short six-game slate tonight, so finding value plays is very important. The Washington Wizards are facing off against the Denver Nuggets, making both John Wall and his counterpart Bradley Beal enticing fantasy options. Read on to find out why.

Also, the Philadelphia 76ers will take on the New Orleans Pelicans in what should be a very high-scoring and reckless (at least, defensively) game. These are my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/8/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel. Read on to see who to roster from that contest, as well.

FanDuel DFS Guards

John Wall - PG, vs DEN ($9,800)

John Wall has looked great of recent, and he can be rostered in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight against the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and Wall just recently posted over 70 fantasy points in 42 minutes against the Orlando Magic. As long as this game stays close, Wall is going to continue to shoot. He shot the ball 31 times two days ago, and he will not hesitate to do it again.

Bradley Beal - SG, vs DEN ($6,800)

Speaking of John Wall and the Washington Wizards, Bradley Beal also makes for a great option in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight against the Denver Nuggets. In his last four games, he has over 30 fantasy points in two of them, but prior to that, he posted over 40 fantasy points in four of five games. His upside should be obvious, but he has also been rather consistent of recent. As long as John Wall does not hog the ball, which he tends not to do, Beal should see some open three-pointers. The Denver Nuggets will keep pace with the Wizards, but not because of their defense. This is a great game to attack.

Also Consider: Will Barton - SG, at WAS ($5,700)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, vs PHI ($12,100)

Anthony Davis has over 55 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. Against the Los Angeles Lakers, he posted over 75 fantasy points in 41 minutes. It is difficult to find that kind of upside anywhere in the league. Davis' price tag is rather high now, but he is well worth it on a six-game slate. The Philadelphia 76ers are dealing with quite a few injuries, and defense has never been the highlight of their organization. The New Orleans Pelicans' big man should have no issue scoring early and often. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Gordon Hayward - SF, vs GSW ($8,100)

Gordon Hayward has been playing great of recent, and tonight, he gets a fantastic, uptempo matchup against the Golden State Warriors. In his last five games, he has at least 45 fantasy points in three of them, and for his price tag, that is great. He does not have under 35 fantasy points in any of his last five games, either. The Warriors are going to allow him to see more fantasy opportunties because of the pace of the game. Hayward is used to playing slow because the Utah Jazz hate to run the court, but the Warriors do not really care what the Jazz like to do. Hayward is one of the best forward options on the board for both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Also Consider: Otto Porter - SF, vs DEN ($6,000)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid - C, at NOP ($6,600)

Joel Embiid, once he starts to play 35 minutes per game, is going to be absolutely unstoppable as far as fantasy is concerned. In his last four games, he has 26, 27, and 25 minutes played with 29.3, 43, and 41.8 fantasy points. He is scoring what most great fantasy centers score in 35 minutes in only around 25 minutes. The New Orleans Pelicans are not great defensively, and Embiid should continue to do exactly what he does best - play 25 minutes and post 40 plus fantasy points. For his price tag, it is worth rostering him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Also Consider: Karl-Anthony Towns - C, at TOR ($9,200)
