Daily League Fantasy Baseball Lineup Card: May 13, 2013

In the preseason, we brought you Daily League Strategy Part 1 and Part 2. Now, all season long, I will be giving you my advice on whom to start in your daily fantasy lineups. For now, this advice and pricing will cater to those who play on Fanduel.  They offer some of the best gaming options for beginners, intermediate, and expert level players. Our job here at RotoBaller is to make your daily fantasy gaming experience a fun and successful one. Whether you are new to the daily fantasy scene or have been playing for years, our columns will be up-to-date and useful for all levels of experience. If you are new to the scene, tweet me at @RotoCole and I will personally show you the ropes. Let’s win together. Ladies (one or two reading this) and gentlemen, here is your late game Daily Fantasy Baseball lineup advice for all games on May 13th, 2013:

Play of the Day: Cody Ross ($3,000) - He has 9 hits so far this May and today will face lefty Mike Minor, whom Ross is 4-6 with 2 HRs against in his career. Elite production coming at a nice price. Ross will be locked into every lineup of mine.

RotoCole's Fanduel Lineup:

Aníbal Sánchez (2012-09-09)P: Anibal Sanchez ($8,000) - One of the league's best strikeout artists will face one of the weaker offenses in baseball, the Houston Astros.
C: Evan Gattis ($3,400) - When Gattis faces a lefty, I get excited. Today he'll face hittable southpaw Wade Miley. I think him and teammate Dan Uggla will have huge games.
1B: Brandon Moss ($3,300) - Has a hit in his only career AB against Justin Grimm. I think he bounces back from his last game, where he was awful going 0-4 with 4 Ks.
2B: Dan Uggla ($3,300) - Uggla has been much better in May than he was in April and that should continue tonight when he faces Wade Miley, who Uggla is 2-3 with a HR against in his career.
3B: Miguel Cabrera ($5,400) - Baseball's best hitter should stroke against Bud Norris tonight.
SS: Jed Lowrie ($3,200) - One of my favorite SS plays has a nice matchup against Justin Grimm, who he is 1-3 with a HR against.
OF: Seth Smith ($2,800) - He is the final piece of my mini-Oakland stack against Justin Grimm.
OF: David Murphy ($2,500) - Riding a 7-game hitting streak and has homered in 2 of his last 3. Tonight, he'll face Joe Blanton, who is an expert at giving up hits.
OF: Cody Ross ($3,000) - Play of the Day

Last, but certainly not least, make sure you check today’s lineups before setting your team!
