Daily League Fantasy Baseball Lineup Card: May 14, 2013

In the preseason, we brought you Daily League Strategy Part 1 and Part 2. Now, all season long, I will be giving you my advice on whom to start in your daily fantasy lineups. For now, this advice and pricing will cater to those who play on Fanduel.  They offer some of the best gaming options for beginners, intermediate, and expert level players. Our job here at RotoBaller is to make your daily fantasy gaming experience a fun and successful one. Whether you are new to the daily fantasy scene or have been playing for years, our columns will be up-to-date and useful for all levels of experience. If you are new to the scene, tweet me at @RotoCole and I will personally show you the ropes. Let’s win together. Ladies (one or two reading this) and gentlemen, here is your late game Daily Fantasy Baseball lineup advice for all games on May 14th, 2013:

Play of the Day: Doug Fister ($6,400) - Fister is throwing against the hapless Astros who more than anything love striking out.  It's great for Fister considering he's not a traditional K pitcher, but the Astros' should help him out there nicely.  Fister has been solid this year with the exception of his last start but it came @WSH so he can be forgiven.  He should easily go 7 IP and lock up the W tonight.

RotoCole's Fanduel Lineup:

Doug Fister on August 14, 2011P: Doug Fister ($6,400) - Fister is relatively cheap considering he's pitching against the impotent and strikeout prone Astros' lineup
C: Joe Mauer ($4,100) -Mauer is 9-for-29 in his career against Peavy
1B: Nick Swisher ($3,300) -Pettibone has a .540 SLG against right-handed hitters. Swisher should smash him nicely.
2B: Jason Kipnis ($4,100) -Kipnis has been scorching hot recently with 4 HR and 9 RBI over his last 10 games
3B: Adrian Beltre ($3,700) - Beltre has a career .684 SLG against Colon in 57 AB's. Solid track record and Colon sturggled his last start
SS: Asdrubal Cabrera ($3,500) - We're loading up on Indians hitters and again Pettibone doesn't do well against righties and ACab destroys right-handed pitching
OF: Andre Ethier ($2,400) - Crazy cheap considering he's a lifetime .426-.449-.660 against Dan Haren
OF: Josh Hamilton ($3,500) -Hamilton is 7-for-23 with 2 HR and 2 2B against Guthrie - this could be the medicine he needs
OF: Michael Brantley ($3,000) -You might say we're going all-in on Indians hitters

Last, but certainly not least, make sure you check today’s lineups before setting your team!
