In the preseason, we brought you Daily League Strategy Part 1 and Part 2. Now, all season long, I will be giving you my advice on whom to start in your daily fantasy lineups. For now, this advice will cater to those who play on Fanduel. They offer some of the best gaming options for beginners, intermediate, and expert level players. Our job here at RotoBaller is to make your daily fantasy gaming experience a fun and successful one. Whether you are new to the daily fantasy scene or have been playing for years, our columns will be up-to-date and useful for all levels of experience. If you are new to the scene, tweet me at @RotoCole and I will personally show you the ropes. Let’s win together. Ladies (one or two reading this) and gentlemen, here is your late game Daily Fantasy Baseball lineup advice for all games on May 6th, 2013:
Monday's Must Start: C Brian McCann ($3,400) - McCann comes off the DL at the perfect time to face Bronson Arroyo, whom McCann is 9-18 with 4 Hrs against. I'm starting McCann with confidence today because I think he will kick his 2013 season off with a bang.
RotoCole's Fanduel Lineup:
P: Cliff Lee ($8,200) - He hasn't given up a run in San Francisco in the last three years. He's struggled a bit lately but I like him to get back on track tonight.
C: Brian McCann ($3,400) - MUST START
1B: Paul Goldschmidt ($4,300) - Is an incredible 9-12 in his career against Chris Capuano.
2B: Brandon Phillips ($3,700) - Has a nice history against Atlanta lefty Paul Maholm going 18-51 with 4 Hrs.
3B: Placido Polanco ($2,200) - More of a value play but could collect a couple hits off Cashner who struggled bigtime last outing.
SS: Alexei Ramirez ($2,800) - Almost my start of the day with an 11-26 BvP history versus KC starter James Shields.
OF: Shane Victorino ($3,400) - He's back and he gets to fave one of the league's most hittable righties, Vance Worley.
OF: Daniel Nava ($3,500) - He will get the same juicy matchup as Victorino and should have a nice day against Worley.
OF: Desmond Jennings ($3,300) - Has never faced Mark Buehrle but his last two games have been multi hit games.
