BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues, AL-Only Leagues
ANALYSIS: Some might see the name Dallas Keuchel and immediately disregard him as a waiver wire option because of his lowly team and past performance. In a 12-team or deeper league this would be a mistake. Despite some rather ugly numbers on the surface last year, Keuchel made some big improvements in his peripheral numbers. He increased his K/9, decreased his BB/9 and saw a decrease in his HR/9 rate. All three of those stats have continued to improve this year. His bad numbers last year came in large part due to the worst BABIP for any pitcher with a minimum of 150 innings (likely in part because of the bad Astros team around him). He isn't elite and he won't get a lot of wins, but Dallas Keuchel is showing all the signs of a pitcher making big improvements and at the very least he is worth streaming against lesser offenses.
