ANALYSIS: Ernesto Frieri has recently been removed from the closer's role for the second time this season. This time around, however, it appears other relievers will get a chance to audition for the the role. Just one day prior to the closer change, De la Rosa notched his first career save (August 9), in a 5-2 win over the Cleveland Indians. He is expected to get the first crack at saves, while teammate Michael Kohn could be in the mix as well.
