ANALYSIS: Will we live enough to see Daniel Jones getting some damn respect? I don't know, I don't know... How many Giants pass-catchers have been banged up and missing games at some point through the first four weeks of the season? Four? Five? All of them? And still, Jones has put up three games above 21 FP, a 29+ explosion, and only one kinda-dud that still saw him finish inside the QB2 realm. Not bad if you ask me.
Jones has thrown only three touchdown passes in the baby season. That's not entirely bueno, I know, but he's made up for that a bit with 2 TDs on the ground and only one interception in the four games already in the books. All things considered, Jones is putting up an average of 22.3 FPPG while attempting 32+ passes every game he's been out there completing an average of 66.7% of them all. In fact, excluding the W1 game and looking only at the past three matches played, he'd be connecting on 69.1% of his throws for 305 yards on average.
Jones is coming off his first game of the year passing for 400+ yards, and it's not that he did it with a pure-volume, wild-low-efficiency performance. Far from it. Jones went 28-of-40 for 402, threw a touchdown, and the only blemish was the INT he couldn't avoid. He also added 27 yards rushing, and he's already at 188 rushing yards on the season to go with 2 TDs on the ground. I wouldn't go as far as to advise starting Jones in all leagues, perhaps not even in the slightly deeper (12+ teams) formats out there, but he's a must-have-and-start QB for those in deeper format and a sound option for streamers out there looking for upside at the position available for free.
